About Dixie

This is Dixie my amazing Pitbull she is 3/4 Blue Nose and 1/4 Red Nose she has a dark brindle coat and has had 1 litter of puppies but will come spayed. She is absolutely wonderful with my 15 month old daughter and MOST people who come over but the reason I am rehoming is because she is not great with everyone she has had tendencies to growl and bark and even go as far as bite random people without cause. We think she is protecting her territory but is very inconsistent with who she doesnt like. She recently nipped a child a friend brought over and while she didnt break the skin we cant have a randomly agressive dog at our home because in our town she will have to be put down if a bite is reported. I love her and she has a wonderfully sweet and snuggly temperment with everyone she likes and gets along well with babies and other dogs. She will cuddle in bed with you and is polite in the car so she makes a great travel buddy. She is my girl and I want to find her a wonderful suitable home wishing we could be it.
