About Fang

Mastiff mix
Age: Adult
Sex: Male

[Read About Natural Cancer Care] Fang and River were both duped at my daughter's high school. He is underweight, has a bad right ankle that maybe an old injury. He also has a small mass on the left side of his neck under the ruff. Could be a fibroid cyst or a sarcoma. I estimate he's 5-years-old. He's bonded with the the female, River; we suspect both famg and River were castoffs as breeding dogs from a Mastiff puppy mill based on their physical shape and deep callouses on Fang's joints. Fang has been bathed twice, a topical flea tick med to get rid of the flea infestation. I don't know his HW status. having big dogs myself, i gave Fang a HW treatment as this is the worst time for mosquitoes. Fang's right ankle joint is a concern as well that small quarter-sized mass under the ruff on his neck. He's big and friendly toward my 18-year old daughter, the high school students who approached Fang at school and gave him pats and leftovers from their lunches. No aggression observed with people or his bonded partner. Fang is a big, slobbery sweetie who isn't really active right now. Fang is getting lots of rest, food and water. I have three other dogs and three cats so we'll keep them separate until we find an adopter. I have no rescue involved yet. I usually can find someone to sponsor the fur babies I rescue, but adult Mastiffs are hard to place. I want to get Fang evaluated, vetted and neutered. I can't afford the vetting, shots, and neutering Fang needs. I think with the right family who have big dog experiences would be best placement. Not sure about how much socialization either dog has. Fang loves his big backyard and the oversized doghouse that keeps his safe and dry. We bought dog beds and old blankets to make Fang and River more comfortable.
