About Aspen

Aspen is a sweet, submissive family dog who is perfect for a family without small farm animals. She loves to play and equally loves to snuggle. She loves playing with all dogs and cats, however, she plays too rough with kittens and young cats and kills them. She will also kill chickens, lambs, and other small animals she can catch. Aspen has cataracts covering both eyes. This does not hinder her ability to run around the house and yard, or jump up on to furniture and in vehicles. She behaves exactly like a dog with no vision problems. We have a very large fenced yard that she digs under and escapes out of. We have a ranch and live several miles away from our neighbors, but when she gets loose, she runs as fast as she can as far away as she can. Because we aren't able to keep her in the yard and away from the farm animals, we can't keep her anymore. She is microchipped and turned 1 year old in early February. She is house trained and used to sleeping at the foot of the bed at night. She is a truly beautiful and loving dog, but she will need a yard that she can't dig out of and cannot be around small animals. We adopted her from Rescue Me when she was 7 months old and we're heartbroken to give her up. She is loved and will truly be missed.
