About Potbelly Pig

Owen needs a forever home. He is approximately 3 years old and is neutered. He was found wandering the streets and picked up by animal control. After 4 months of shelter life, animal shelter said he had to go to whomever wanted him. A foster family stepped up and took him in to keep him safe, where they found he had human earrings put in his nose. He was taken to the vet for removal of the rings which were embedded but has now healed completely. He is very friendly, seems to prefer to be inside, but unsure of house training with him as foster only has outside space. He has been around other pigs, dogs and cats and does well with them. Foster family has been working with his weight as he came from shelter very thin, shelter attributed it to depression. His adoption fee is $ 100 to help offset the cost of feed and vet care.
