Every other piglet from the litter is currently reserved by approved adopters and is scheduled to go home later this month. We had an adopter lined up for Cinderella, but unfortunately they have fallen through. We don't think she deserves to be left behind as she watches all of her siblings find loving homes, so the search is on for her happy ending! Cinderella is one of the most confident piglets in the litter. She will seek out humans and seems to know that we come with snacks! She accepts affection, but as with all of the piglets, she still has a lot of socialization and lessons left to learn! We think she'd be happiest in a home with other pigs, but are willing to consider a single-pig home for her for the right family. She has been exposed to dogs since the day she was born and likes them just fine! She is also used to calm and respectful children, but would likely be afraid of a child that doesn't know how to approach a prey animal. She is already used to using pine shavings as 'litter' so we believe with consistency she would likely housebreak quickly. Momma Lola is about 70 lbs, and still growing (as she's an adolescent at 2 years old) and putting weight back on since she lost so much during the weaning process, so it is hard to predict how large Cinderella will be fully grown. We estimate somewhere between 100-150 lbs, but diet can play a large role in this as well as she ages. If you think your home is the perfect glass slipper fit (see what we did there? ) for our little Princess Cinderella, you can start the adoption process by filling out a farm animal application at www.waywardranch.org. Even if you are not able to adopt a pig at this time, share her, and let's find her a home! She is spayed, microchipped and ready to go home today!
