About Rosie

Rosie is a bashful 5.5 month old Chihuahua mix looking for her forever home. She weighs just under 8 pounds and may have a little growing left to do. Rosie is a shy girl who likes to take her time to warm up to new people. She does best with women but hasn't had very many positive interactions with men and it will take her longer to warm up to any men in the home. Rosie has not been around many children but she does best with older children that understand to go slow with her. Rosie is good with other playful dogs her size that let her get comfortable before playing, sometimes she can be a bit overwhelming for any older dogs who just want to hangout. She needs a feline free home as she thinks they are toys and will chase/bark at them. Rosie is house broken (with the occasional accident), kennel trained, knows how to use a doggy door, walks great on the leash and rides well in the car. She loves to go for walks and after summer she would love to go for daily walks with her people. Rosie is a professional paper shredder and should not be left alone with access to any kind of papers unless you would like her assistance. Her favorite kind of toys are the ones that she can chew on and squeak! Rosie is an affectionate girl and would love to continue sleeping in bed with her people, she loves to snuggle! She does like to gossip a bit about her daily adventures and would not do well in an apartment. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and vet checked. Her adoption fee is $300 and includes a free vet visit and 30 days of free pet insurance. To meet her, come to our location at 1102 W. Hatcher Road in Phoenix 85021, open Tues-Sunday 11am to 6pm.
