About Indi

Adoption Fee: $300
Lab / Black and Tan Coonhound
Age: Puppy
Sex: Female

Meet Indi. My 1.5 year old spunky, sweet, clumsy, always happy, insanely smart chocolate lab (1/4 coon hound) she is the most cuddly pain in the butt who completely failed her obedience training class but still received a participation certificate because she's just so dang lovable. Your typical water dog who absolutely hates the hose & baths but try and get her back in the car after going swimming and good luck; Because she ain't leaving! But if it's raining out try getting her to go out and go potty. Her precious paws don't touch wet grass because that's ew, so the patio becomes her concrete pee pad. Apart from her daily antics, She's a 90lb bed hog.I have never trained her to sleep on the floor(she's great at spooning) I've also never trained her to stay off the couch, shes always been allowed. As much as she can have a difficult time listening, she does know how to sit, be gentle (when taking treats) and is 80% of the time good about not jumping on people; she does jump in the air and bucks around like a bronco with excitement when you return home. Shes an MVP at scaling kitchen counters; put a toy up and she will just go and grab it when your not looking. Cooking/baking? better make sure she can't get in the kitchen because she will do a silent sneak attack and you'll be left wondering what just happened. As 'hilarious' as she is, she's completely horrified of the vet. Has to take trazadone before her appts otherwise it takes 4 people to get her inside because she will throw herself on the ground and flail like a toddler (because she is one). She is excellent in her crate (99.9% of the time she's in it before I leave because she knows the routine) & doesn't make a peep or has ever had any barking issues.not good with little kids who don't know boundaries and get in her face, they overwhelm her, shes never snapped nor bitten but she has shown her teeth to let them know shes had enough so she needs to go to a home with older kids who understand boundaries. she's scared of dogs her size and takes a long time to warm up to them if they are more hyper than her. She doesn't know how to play with smaller dogs because she has no perception of her own size and tends to bulldoze them. Tug of war is her favorite game to play then tennis ball, shes an extremely Independent player though, give her a nylabone and she will chew on it for hours. Stuffed toys are a no go, yes even the 'indestructible' ones, she has them annihilated within minutes and she doesn't just chew them, she eats them, so I don't allow her to have them for her safety. Loves to go for walks where she can be free to run and hiking. The dog park scares her because she wasn't socialized around a ton of other dogs, she ran on a farm. She's spayed and microchipped but she will run off and not listen to you if she sees a bird/bunny/cat anything to hunt down. If she's not outside in the fenced yard while I leave she's crated because she's still in the chewing stage. She loves to dig holes in dirt/gravel (she's been raised on 2acres where this wasn't a problem for me) but she equally loves to climb into your lap and just be held, The closer she can get to you, the better. As you can see, I have a standard wild child lab puppy. Anyone whose ever owned a lab can tell you how frustrating they can be, but their loyalty, love and devotion to you makes it worth it.I'm asking an at home interview so I can see the conditions in which she'll be living. I'll also need your vet contact so I can call and make sure you are caring pet owners. She will be coming with her food and water bowls, leashes, collar, tons of toys brand new big bag of dog food (Costco) training treats, Kong, other treat toys, her beds
