About Sadie

Miss Sadie is about 4 years old, 80 lbs, and we believe is a Pitbull mix. Sadie is a cuddle bug who loves to be next to her humans. She will definitely try those puppy dog eyes on you to let her get on the couch. She also loves to sun bathe whenever she gets the chance. She can be a bit of a digger, so you have to watch her when she's outside alone for too long or you may end up with a big hole in your back yard. She loves her walks and is very great on leash. She knows basic obedience commands, has passed an obedience class with flying colors, and even knows a few special tricks. She is very excitable when humans come to visit as she loves everyone. She can sometimes be picky about her food. She can be stubborn, but she will do just about anything for a treat. She likes tough toys and bones to chew on, but isn't great at playing ball. She does have a bit of storm anxiety, but we don't coddle her during those storms and she does ok . She's crate trained, although it's not her favorite place to be. Speaking of stubborn, if you put a treat in her crate, she will almost always wait until you get home to eat it. She can be left out in the house for a few hours. She has occasionally been known to chew on a sock on the ground or a hat left out or anything plastic. Sadie does get along with other dogs, but can be possessive over her stuff. She is not good with cats.
