Meet Adoptable JASPER! When Jasper first came into rescue he Jasper had to learn what it was all about to live in a house. He was terrified of everything & needed lots of time to figure out he was safe & what many things were, for example, the TV, stairs & even a dog bed. Jasper was rescued off the street & we do not know what happened to him previously. He has come far but still needs patience and slow introductions to anything & anyone new to his life, therefore, he needs a very quiet, structured household with no children or cats, with an experienced & patient dog handler who will understand & allow him time to adapt since new things & people still scare him. He would make a great companion for a single woman since he prefers women & is especially timid of men. He gets along well with other dogs that are his size with slow introduction & lives with 2 other dogs in his foster home. Words from his foster mom...'Jasper has found that dog beds are comfortable. He goes to the door to go out. Hides his 'treasures' in his crate (socks , toys, anything he likes that belongs to someone else but he does not damage them). Cuddles his stuffed toys. His favorite thing is his Kong. He walks well on leash & can be silly & dances!' This boy is guessed to be about 6-7 years old, weighs 52 lbs, up to date with vaccines, neutered, Heartworm negative, microchipped, house trained, crated trained & the cleaning his pearly whites. If you think you could be Jasper's special person, please email [email protected] & ask for an adoption application. You must also be 25 yrs old to adopt one of our dogs.
