Greetings loyal subjects, I am your gentle and loving Queen Bee. Things have been pretty rough for me lately; I've had two owners in the last several years, both of whom died. I know that's very sad and I miss them very much, but I'm feeling optimistic about finding my true forever home where I can live out my golden years. A throne room is nice, but a soft couch and some treats will do just fine. I am a ten-year-old, sixty-five pound Leonberger/Chow Chow mix with a heart as big as my floofy coat. I have lived in harmony with dogs and cats and would do well in a house with other pets. I have excellent house manners and I'm really just looking for a place to lounge around and do queenly things. I'm easy as heck to keep up with; an old injury to a front leg keeps me moving pretty slow and makes steps a little difficult for me. All I really need is a few short walks (or some time in the backyard) and your undying devotion and adoration. We take applications online and hold adoption events at Petsmart in Waynesboro, VA (821 Town Center Drive Waynesboro, VA 22980) every Saturday. A $175.00 adoption fee ($200 for puppies under 6 months old) helps us take care of all the dogs we rescue. All dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm and tick borne diseases (if old enough), microchipped, and vaccinated for rabies (if old enough), distemper/parvo and bordetella. They are also treated for internal and external parasites. Many dogs also receive extensive medical care such as dental work and major surgeries.
