About Brandi

Meet Brandi! She is a 3 and a half year old Australian Shepherd. Her momma was a mini, her poppa was full size, and she's right in the middle at 35 pounds. Brandi is extremely loyal and this causes her to be very protective. She loves to play with other dogs but she has some difficulty trusting other people. This causes her to be defensive and can nip on occasion. Brandi was kept inside a trailer home for most of her life, but now that she is able to be outside, she absolutely loves to run! Brandi is very high energy and would be perfectly suited to a very active home or one that has a yard with ample roaming space. She would be an amazing sheep herding dog. She definitely needs to go to a home that is confident in training and is willing to be patient with her. She is extremely smart and is going thru ongoing socialization; she is a fast learner but needs much nurturing to trust her owner. She still growls at strangers so she needs a good, strong leader to continue her socialization and training. Brandi is being fostered in Waco, TX.
