Hi, my name is JESSIE - ID#A4248207 I am a spayed female, brown and white American Pit Bull Terrier. The shelter staff think I am about 3 years old, and I have been at the shelter since Apr 24, 2019. I'm a sweet little girl, a little timid, but I warm up when I get to know you a little. I take treats very gently, and know how to 'sit' like a lady. I walk really good on a leash, and I would be a great walking or hiking buddy. I'm a calm and laid-back kind of girl, and don't get all upset when all those other dogs are barking and making such a fuss. I sort of get overlooked when people come by because I don't cause a fuss, and look real jumpy and squirmy. Don't let that fool you - I would love to go out and play with you - just give me a chance. Great at chasing a tennis ball. Because I have been at the shelter over a month, I'm in real danger of getting put on the list for euthanasia. I'm not ready to leave this world yet - only only 3 years old! Would you consider taking in a calm, quiet, sweet lady to be your roommate?
