Phillip came all the way from Loreto Mexico on a plane and a transport bus. His mom got thrown over the fence of a private shelter in Loreto when she was very pregnant. 11 pups were born next day but the mom killed most of the pups except for 4. Phillip was one of the 4. Considering the hard start of his life, he has grown well both physically and temperament-wise. I got him only 2 days ago but he is already a member of our pack of 5 dogs and 3 cats. He weighs 25 lbs and will be up to 35-40 lbs but not more, I think. He eats well and he does potty business outside in the yard. He doesn't like to be put in the crate at night but he doesn't make a fuss and goes to sleep quietly. He can hold potty overnight. We took him for walk with our dogs only a few hours we got him but he did great! He learned 'Sit' on the same day! Phillip is still scared of quick movement and when someone approach to him unexpectedly but he comes to you when you sit down and call him. He will be a very sweet and loyal companion when he is given enough time and patience to trust you.
