About Royal

Hello all, my name is Royal. I came to Safe Place for Pets with my brother Prince. As you can tell we both have very regal names and like my brother says, we are both very handsome boys. My mom passed very suddenly and we were taken in by her sister. However she is a very busy business owner and in the process of building her new home. She and her husband just don't have the time to care for us. After talking to friends and relatives she finally came across Safe Place for Pets and knew that was the organization that would take good care of us while finding us a fur-ever home. I am about 6 years old, neutered, and have my claws. We were both indoor/outdoor cats and had a lot of freedom. Our previous home was quiet and we were the only 2 pets. We don't like dogs and have not been around children so I don't how we feel about them. I am friendly but shy at first. I love to be up high and will jump on counters and furniture to get there. I'm a typical cat that loves to play with balls and string. I am all black. I am also very talkative. Even though we've lived together since we were kittens, we are not bonded and do not have to be adopted together. We are both friendly guys but I am the more easy-going one so I think I would be OK with children. We both have all our vaccines and are micro-chipped. We went to the vet and he says we need our teeth cleaned so we will both have that done as part of our adoption donation.
