About Rocky

Meet Rocky!! This fun loving pup is like having a Retriever but only 1/3 the size! Rocky is a male mix breed, he is 4 yrs old and weighs 34 pounds. When you look at him you see several dog breeds! He has the length of a dachshund, the color of a Vizsla and the size of a corgi. His coat color is stunning. Reddish tan with darker red accents. He was a loved pet until the family fell on hard times and lost their home. He was in a local shelter when my amazing Vets office found out and went and got him so we could find him a safe new home. Rocky is good with cats, dogs and kids. He appears to be potty trained (hard to tell for sure in a kennel environment) He is very friendly and social. He does well on car rides and does well on a leash. He is neutered and up to date on shots. His previous owner told the shelter that he really likes tennis balls and rope toys. We have observed that the kennel situation at the vet is not going well for Rocky. Due to this I would like to find him a home as soon as possible. He wants so badly to be out with a family playing and laying around on the couch. He really enjoys being outside and running around playing. Rocky would make a great companion for almost an active family looking for a fun dog! Please consider opening your home to this sweet girl. Vet and home checks required.
