Adoption Fee: $269
Chihuahua mix
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Female

Name: Sweet Pea Sex: Female Spayed/Neutered: Yes Breed: Chihuahua (long coat) Weight: 6.5 lbs Height: 7 in Estimated Birthdate: 2/10/2013 Fence Needed: No Location: Dreamweaver Farms, Pacolet SC Adoption Fee:$269 Date into Rescue: 2/20/2019 Reason for being in rescue: Found as stray by good samaritan that reached out for help. Special Needs: dislocated hip which has been repaired as of 4/19/19 What kind of home would be best for me: Sweet Pea is looking for attention, lap snuggles, long walks and a home to give her heart to. It would also be great if you know how to throw a ball. Sweet Pea loves to play ball, definitely a unique trait for a chihuahua. What is my personality like: Sweet Pea is a happy and hyper little girl who loves to bounce and play. Our age on her is just a guess for she acts much younger. It may be that pain when we first got her (from her dislocated hip) kept her down a bit but now that is fixed she gets more fun each and every day. Sweet Pea has the ability to bond completely with a person and is really looking for a person who wants her to become their princess. How do I act when I first meet new people: A little shy at first but that changes quickly. Tips and Tidbits: Sweet Pea loves clothes. She loves to play dress up! She loves to ride in a car and will sit in your lap, totally trusting you to take her someplace fun. She also loves to roll up in soft, fuzzy blankets at night and often we play the game 'where is Sweet Pea:' as she is completely buried. Sweet Pea has been crate trained but she is going to tell you right up front we're lying to you (we're not). If no people are in the room, she resigns herself to sleeping alone in her blanket but if you are in the room, she is all about get me out of this crate and into your arms. We've not had the experience of sleeping with Sweet Pea but I am betting she'd be the best little under the cover buddy ever. House trained: Dogs can be house trained if they are in the right environment and are allowed to follow a schedule as long as a physical reason doesn't keep them from being trained. A dog house trained in my home may not be in yours. We will help you teach your new dog this necessary skill and based on your schedule.
