Hi, my name is ROSIE - ID#A4260388 I am a spayed female, brown American Pit Bull Terrier mix, and I weigh about 49 lbs. The shelter staff think I am about 2 years and 1 month old, and I have been at the shelter since May 17, 2019. The person who found me said they kept me for a few hours after finding me on the side of the highway. I hopped right into their truck, and just enjoyed the ride home. I'm a real friendly girl, but really shy and timid. I walk on a leash just fine, and I would make a great walking or hiking buddy. I guess you would say I don't have much confidence, but if you would be really patient with me, I believe I would open up. It would probably be best if I were not in a home with little kids, as they an be rather intimating. I do get along OK with other dogs, though. If Rosie is not adopted soon, she may face euthanasia. By not acting happy and wiggly, she does not attract attention to prospective adopters, and gets overlooked in the chaos of the kennels. She really needs someone who will understand and appreciate her gentle and shy nature. 'URGENT' If you have no breed restrictions, please call ASAP = 520-800-4633
