About Dio

Dio is a purebred, 1.5 year old neutered Harrier Hound. He is a high energy dog. He is good with adults and children, however, due to energy level, jumping and play biting (open mouth) he is not recommended to be around young children or elderly. He is a VERY strong dog. Loves to go on walks and runs, but he takes you! He needs alot of stimulation to keep him busy and from chewing things he shouldn't. He really needs a fenced yard in the suburbs/country. He is housebroken. I have owned him since December and he has Never gone in the house. He comes with a HUGE crate if you need one. I can no longer keep him due to living in the city and having complaints of him barking while on a run in the back yard. If he was allowed to roam free in a fenced yard I'm sure he would be much better. He just doesn't like to be tied out. He is NOT good with cats or other animals due to his hunting mentality. He could def use some training and would be an awesome agility dog. He is extremely smart. I need to find him a home asap.
