Hi y'all. I'm Stella. The nice folks at the rescue don't know much about my past. I got abandoned by my previous owner when they moved away. I was tied up all the time and miserable but am very happy to have been given a second chance at a new and much better life. They're guessing that I'm about 3 years old. A beautiful purebred American Pit Bull Terrier, 65 lbs of solid doggie love!! Pit Bulls have gotten a bad name with all those horrible humans fighting us but we were actually originally bred to be nannies to toddlers. You'd be hard pressed to find a sweeter, more loyal dog. I am especially affectionate. Love to be loved on, making up for lost time!! I'm very gentle with puppies and little dogs but enjoy rough housing with bigger dogs. My size and enthusiasm can be a bit overwhelming at times but I mean no harm. Don't have an aggressive bone in my body except towards cats, not sure what I'd do if I caught one but I'm eager to chase them. One thing they tell me I do have though are these deadly things called heartworms. Luckily, they caught it in time and I'm being treated for them. Should be good as new, no lasting ill effects!! The rescue will advise and cover what I still need with my new family. Other than that, I'm good to go!! Up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed, microchipped. I'm even housebroken, love riding in the car, love kids and playing as well as snuggling. I'll make a great addition to your family!!
