About Marla

Marla is a sweet and loveable girl!! She loves her people and bonds quickly with whoever showers her with love!!! At around 55 lbs, she is on the larger side of medium, but her short legs make her appear more demure! We would call her a medium energy dog as she will run and play as long as she wants, she would prefer a fenced in yard!! She loves to rest her head on your shoulders and get hugs. Marla looks at each toy as a deconstruction challenge. She will show you exactly what it's made of so you know for next time :). She does well with dogs one on one, mostly boys, with slow introductions. She must be in a cat-free home due to the hound in her. She also would do best in a home with older kids due to her lack of boundaries. She is house trained, does NOT love her crate but tolerates it, and does not show any food aggression at all (with dogs or humans)! She is very smart and is doing well learning her commands. She really would love a home where she could get hugs and kisses all day, walks and a nice fenced back yard! Marla is a four year old, 55lb, female Hound mix. As part of her $250 adoption fee, she is spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccines, and monthly flea/tick and heart worm preventatives.
