Hey, look at me! I'm beautiful and oh so sassy! My foster mom says that I'm a lot of cat in a petite body. I guess that means that I have my own cat attitude but I'm just so cute that I can get away with it. She loves my fluffy medium length fur and big green eyes and claims that I am quite a rascal, but I think of myself as a confident and independent young lady! I say that I have a kitten personality and like to stay active. It took me a while to get comfortable in my new foster home. I'm not telling what happened to me before I was rescued by Purr Partners but I was quite scared and all I wanted to do was hide - some secrets are to be kept! I spent the first week in the box springs of the bed but then I decided that foster mom was worthy of my trust. Now I'm out enjoying the house and following foster mom around. She needs my help and I like her company. I've had some pretty bad experiences with hands in the past but foster mom lets me rub her hands and doesn't try to grab me. I enjoy some rubbing from foster mom and dad but prefer to leave the extended snuggling and petting sessions to other kitties. I've tried lap-sitting for a few minutes and consider this might be something I could enjoy in the future as long as all that petting and cuddling aren't involved. Just my presence shows how grateful I am to have another chance at a good life. I do love to hang out or play with my foster parents. As foster mom comes home I run to meet her and do come when she calls me because I know that something good is happening like food or play. I love to play, run, and explore. I especially love playing with foster mom as she dangles the feather toys. Mom thinks I have such a cute belly as I roll around with the toys. I am OK with the other cats in the house but like having time to myself also. I am able to enjoy my people more when I am not distracted by other kitties. Being an only cat seems like something I could really appreciate and having a forever human to bond with would be the cat's meow. I've gradually adjusted to my new foster home and feel pretty confident now but I understand that one day I'll have an even better home with a forever human that I'll learn to love and trust. They will be someone who will patiently give me time to settle and to feel confident in my forever home. I don't really think kids are my thing, and as for other cats... well, as long as they are friendly. Gentle dogs are a possibility. I really want to be your beautiful, quirky, one and only loving feline, and I promise to love you forever if you'll only give me a chance! The Nebelung is an American developed breed of cat originating in Colorado. Nebelung means 'creature of the mist'. They are lively, playful, good-natured, and intelligent. Their shimmering grey coat is medium long with a long sweeping tail and taking 2 yrs to fully develop. Eyes are usually a beautiful glowing green but some will have yellow eyes. Nebelungs prefer to bond with one or two individuals to whom they stay loving and loyal their entire lives. They may choose one individual in the family with whom they spend most of their time, following them from room to room. This cautious kitty prefers their own family and is shy and reserved with strangers. Adjusting to changes in the household requires time.
