About Pickles (west)

Hi, my name is PICKLES - ID#A4224975 I am a spayed female, tan and white American Pit Bull Terrier mix. The shelter staff think I am about 3 years old, and I have been at the shelter since Mar 27, 2019. Pickles has come a long ways since she first came to the shelter. She came to the shelter in late March and was completely shut down and terrified. Pickles was so scared that she wouldn't even make eye contact with people and would shake anytime anyone would get near her. A group of dedicated volunteers worked to socialize her and she has finally started to show us her adorable personality. Pickles is still a little timid but belly rubs make fast friends with this girl. Seriously, she is ALL about the belly rubs. Pickles walks well on the leash (although sometimes she army crawls), she's mellow, gentle and is very well behaved. Because Pickles has been at the shelter so long, and since now the shelter itself is a maximum capacity, she my be in immediate danger to be euthanized unless a home is found very soon. this sweet lady would love to grow old with you and would reward you with loyalty and unconditional love until the day she dies.
