About Monti

**ADOPTION FEE REDUCED!** Hello everyone. This big guy is Monti. He's a 1 1/2 year old Blue Heeler mix. Around 40 lbs. He was found abandoned at a home in Chattanooga, mal nourished (along with other dogs found), he had mange, worms, and other minor issues. Some very good friends of ours took him in and addressed his medical needs. After some time had passed, they put him on Facebook to ask friends or family to take him in. August of 2018, my husband and I took him in so our dog Myles could have a friend. He is legitimately one of the sweetest most loving dogs ever. Giving him pets basically paralyzes him. He's very smart, and picks up on things quite fast when you work with him. He LOVES to go outside and play fetch in the yard; he will run himself ragged, no joke. He's house broken and kennel trained, and very treat motivated lol. He is literally the perfect dog for someone that doesn't have any other pets, and just wants a companion to spoil and love on. The reason we're trying to find him a home is simply because he just doesn't get along great with our other dog, Myles. He NEEDS to be the only dog in the household, and that is my only requirement. He's NOT an aggressive dog, but he gets randomly jealous when another dog is getting attention, which can cause problems in a multi-dog household. We are requiring a $100 adoption fee to ensure he goes to the best home.
