About Nellie Mae

This animal is available to licensed rescue groups only. Please do not enquire unless with a licensed rescue group. Hello, I have 3 pits and I've never in my life had to re home any of my pets. I got our last puppy a year ago last November. At that time I was a stay at home Mom. My other 2 girls don't need to be caged when we leave, they get the privilege of having the whole house. I am now a full time working Mom and I feel absolutely horrible our youngest girl is stuck in her cage for hours. She needs to burn energy and she isn't getting the exercise or attention she deserves. I don't want her to go to just anyone! It's not fair to her that she's cooped up a lot. I don't want to do this, but it would be better for her no matter how much it breaks my heart. I have been going back and forth with myself about this but it would be selfish of me to keep her when she's not getting what she deserves. Unfortunately, this afternoon she pushed the door open as we had our hands full, took off and got ahold of our neighbors chicken. They are highly unhappy and I can't keep worrying that she's going to escape and take off. She does need and some training and to learn basic manners. I will not surrender her to a shelter. She is very loving and craves human attention. She will need a fenced in yard, a kennel, or a tie out and LOTS of exercise! We don't have a fenced in yard and the second she sees an opportunity to bolt, she does. If you can help me, I would very much appreciate it and we can talk more. (she is fixed!) If someone can help me or point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated! Nellie is good with other dogs (we have 3 others) and we also have 2 cats as well. She is crate trained, goes to the door when she needs to go outside and free feeds. Thank you so much. Below is some pictures of her. Her name is Nellie Mae.
