About Sterling Jr (west)

Hi, my name is STERLING JR - ID#A4230814 I am a neutered male, chocolate and white American Pit Bull Terrier mix. The shelter staff think I am about 3 years old, and I have been at the shelter since Mar 23, 2019. Here are some notes from a volunteer who spent the day with Sterling Jr recently: 'We went on a day trip to happy hour at a restaurant. Sterling was outgoing, sweet and interested in everything. He loved meeting new people, and was very social and fun. His behavior was very different outside of the shelter. He walks pretty good on the leash: pulled on the leash at first, but settled and then walked well. He was calm and laid down and relaxed on the patio of the restaurant. He greeted people calmly, with a tail wag. Sterling also appreciates music; when a fire truck went by he couldn't help joining in with the siren- his howls in sync with the siren. Sterling Jr has been at the shelter beyond the normal period of time, and since the shelter is at capacity already, he is in danger of being euthanized.
