About Rex

Rex is a four year old Italian Mastiff (Cane Corso) he is excellent with kids and women he is shy with men and will take him a little to warm up but once he gets to know them he is very friendly. Rex shows signs of aggression with other dogs he becomes very terotorial when he sees another dog making it very hard to socialize, not sure if he will actually attack another dog or if he just gets overly excited and it comes off as aggression. He is house broken, and does not chew up anything. Rex needs space to run free as he loves being outside, he will walk on a lead but prefers free space off the lead. He is not great on walks due to his signs of aggression towards other dogs. He listens to basic commands, sit, stay, lay, paw, and come. He is a huge lap dog and demands lots of cuddles. We currently live in an apartment and just hate to see him so restricted because of his limited outdoor experience due to his temperament with other dogs. He is great with all ages of kids but sometimes does not realize his size and strength so young kids might get bumped around. We hate to give him up but feel he is being deprived of the life he truly deserves. Home with fenced backyard is preferred.
