About Briana

Briana is a blue nose amstaf mix saved from a high kill shelter in Columbus GA. She was obviously used for breeding but whoever bred her to care less that she had 3 of her 4 legs broken because they fused together to create bowed legs with which she runs and walks with today. Bri isn't in pain however and she runs and walks like any other dog. We had xrays performed when we saved her and had her evaluated by 2 vets who both suggested leaving her legs alone. She does great in homes and on stairs so she doesn't let it hinder her movement at all. Bri does well with all dogs but cats are a no go. She also does great with people and kids. For all she has been through, she trusts without concern and loves belly rubs, a good run and a couch with her studies just like everyone else. In fact, her studies come everywhere with her. Even outside. She then picks them up And brings them in when she comes. She was heartworm positive but has converted to heartworm negative post treatment as we treated her in November. She is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations and is on flea and tick and heartworm preventatives to keep her healthy from here on out. Bri loves her crate and loves her foster family But Longs for a home of her own so she can be loved on.
