About Moose

Move over, Bullwinkle, because there's a new Moose in town! Hi, I'm Moose, and I am speaking to you from my stuffed animal bunker in my foster home. Currently, I am surrounded by 10+ stuffies, none of which I have destroyed and all of which I cherish, so I will do my best to keep my attention on writing this profile with high hopes that it might lead me to you, my forever buddy! I might be ten years old, but I can still show up the youngsters with my random bouts of warp speed zoomies and youthful exuberance. My energy level is usually just about average, so that means I don't require a ton of exercise; a long walk sounds just fine to me. My foster mom is unsure of how I am with cats, but she knows for sure that I don't get along well with other dogs (unless they're stuffed, and then we are pals). I might not be a good fit with kiddos just because of how goofy I am when I get the zoomies; I may knock a little one down by accident! My training has been going really well with my foster mom. I'm house-trained and I'm making great progress on leash training. My foster mom is unsure if I am crate-trained or not because I do not have to be crated at her house. I don't mean to brag, but cuddling and showering people in affection are kind of my areas of expertise. I'm great at gauging appropriate energy levels to have around different kinds of people. So when my foster uncle comes over, I am all over him and energetic, but when grandma comes over, I know not to behave like that and I spend most of my time just rubbing up against her and begging her for belly rubs. I am truly happiest when I am snuggled up on the couch with a stuffy and a good Netflix special. I only have one tiny special need. Sometimes, my eyes, paws, and ears get red and itchy from allergies. I need grain-free dog food so I can be my best Moose for you.
