About Spirit

Spirit is a super sweet and handsome boy that is 5 years old and 5 pounds, but should be closer to 8 pounds with his frame. This sweet boy was attacked by a much larger dog and he sustained severe injuries to his ribs. He is healing so well and is finally ready for his new forever home! He enjoys the company of other dogs, running in the backyard, laying in the sun, snuggling on the couch for nap time and belly rubs, taking walks around the block, and playing with toys. Spirit would do best in a home without children as they intimidate him. He is neutered, vaccinated, heart worm negative, microchipped, and recently had a dental. Spirit was an owner surrender that could not afford his emergency medical care after the attack. His current foster is working on crate-training and potty training. We represent the dog to the best of our ability and since they are in rescue, we do not always get their history. Please note: We are a non-profit Pomeranian Rescue with dogs in private foster homes. We do not have a facility open to the public. We require an approved application before a potential adopter is introduced to a dog. We contact vet references to ensure animals in the home are current on vaccinations, heart worm prevention, and sterilization. We do not adopt our dogs to homes in which an animal is not spayed or neutered. A home visit may be required.
