About Trixie

Hi, my name is Trixie and I am looking for a comfortable place to retire. I am still and active senior who likes to go for walks and will play with another gentle dog of my size. I am told I look like a mix of terriers and maybe some Italian Greyhound. I am a sleek 15 pounds with long legs. Let me tell you more about my dream home. I would prefer a fairly quiet home with someone who is home a little more than an average full-time work day. I like a warm place to take my naps. I like blankets and would like to sleep next to you at night. I really don't need much. If you want to serve meals at certain times I am fine with that, or if you want to fill my bowl and let me snack during the day that works for me, too. I get along well with other dogs, I just don't want any really young dogs getting in my face and bugging me to play. I don't much care about cats, we can co-exist. My health is very good and I am still very active and mobile. I am a little hard of hearing, so they best way to get my attention is to clap your hands. I am not fond of stairs but I can still jump up on a couch or a bed. I had my teeth cleaned 6 months ago and they still look really good. I am up to date on all my vaccinations, I was tested for heartworms and thankfully I tested negative, and I am microchipped. I am also spayed.
