About Daisy

We are currently seeking to re-home 9 month old Daisy. She is spayed and up to date on shots. Daisy currently lives in a family will 4 children, a 10 year old dog and an 11 year old cat. We do not have any information about Daisy's parents. We took her in when she was only about 9weeks old. We knew taking her in would be hard in our situation. But, she had no where else to go and we fell in love with her. So, we wanted to make it work. Unfortunately, she does not get along well with our 10 year old dog and keeping them separated is becoming difficult. We also do not have the accommodations and the time she needs to be happy. Daisy LOVES my husband. However, my husband and I believe she would be much happier with a single man. No other animals. She follows basic commands. She is extremely energetic. So, fenced in backyard is a must. We do not have a fenced in area for her and she really desires that. We are looking for someone who would take the time to spend time with her before adoption takes place. She's only been with us and strangers make her nervous. I know it sounds above and beyond. But, we would love for her to be adopted by some one who is okay with us bringing her to their property a few times as well to help her adjust. Giving her a successful transition is extremely important to us. She is in need of person who will dedicate their time to her, with love and patience. She needs work on being better socialized.
