About Hyphy

Who's the cutest, silliest love bug who wants nothing more than to be close to his favorite human? That's Hyphy! He needs a home (a forever home would be AMAZING but a foster home would be pretty great too!). He's a senior pup with a surprising spring in his step who enjoys a life of leisure with lots of hugs, pets and, of course, snacks. This guy is a real character who is full of facial expressions, loves to steal kisses and thinks he's a big lap dog. He is truly a great companion. When Hyphy's owner of 12 years was no longer able to provide care for him, he was surrendered at the vet to be euthanized even though he had no medical issues. Rocket dog rescue feels lucky that we could step in to save this sweet and spirited older gent. Hyphy needs a loving home to live out his golden years. Hyphy is now 13, but he has the heart of a pup. He has some typical issues of an older dog, like arthritis in his back legs (he needs a home without stairs) and close access to a relief area. It's not easy for any dog, especially an older one, having to move from home to home, but you would never know it as he is still so loving and trusting and full of zest for life. His current foster mom adores him but has to move and will not be able to take him with her. He is an absolute team favorite and as much as we will miss him, we know the right home is out there just waiting to spoil this guy rotten.
