About Sid

Sid is a 9 year old boy who came to us with a few other cats when his person was no longer able to care for herself let alone other cats.��%BC Sid is the last of them to find a family to call his own. When he came to us he was pretty shy. He was also kind. He was pretty skinny and needed to gain weight. He was also a good eater��%BC. He was unsure of human contact but also enjoyed touch when he received it. All of this troubled us. Why was he so unsure of people? (While also craving love) We don't quite know. All we know is we can move forward. All we know is that we were able to help him gain weight. All we know is we were able to help him gain confidence.��%BC With that being said he's an older guy that has no experience in the shelter system other than what he's experiencing now. He becomes introverted when you put him in a cage. He gets a little bit nervous when you put him in a carrier. He becomes quiet. He becomes still. With that being said he gets overlooked at adoption events and we certainly are not going to put him in a pet store to reside there while you come looking for him��%BC. We are hoping that you see him. We are hoping you really see��%BC HIM! We are hoping you meet him and understand that he is just waiting to blossom. You will be able to pet him. You will be able to see him. But you won't really see his light shine until he is home. Until he is REALLY HOME! He needs a patient home. One that gives him a little bit a time and understands that he's going to be still and quiet for a while. Just give him extra love. Some scratches. Some really good food. And you will see him start to glow.��%BC��%BC. He would probably do best in a home with other cats or if you decided to adopt one of his foster friends with him. He feels the most at peace when he is surrounded by his furry family.��%BC Please consider Sid!��%BC He is a good boy! He needs a GOOD FAMILY! WE ADORE HIM!
