About Marcus

Hi there! My name is Marcus, and I'm a loving, confident, very playful, fully trained 65-lb. yellow-with-white Labrador/ American Staffordshire Terrier mix fella who was born in October 2017. I've got the muzzle and color of a yellow lab but the ears of an American Staffordshire Terrier. I love affection and will cuddle with my humans, and I can be quite the couch potato despite my being as young as I am. I haven't been tested around cats, but I love playgroups and am great with other dogs; however, true confessions, I'm not great around kids because it really bugs me when they pull and hang on me like small kids will do. I'm a very smart boy and know more commands and tricks than you can shake a stick at. I've already had a full eight weeks of training, and my trainer continues to work with me on a daily basis. She's even throwing in a free training session for my adopter! Sadly I was abandoned at a shelter by my previous owner, and I would've died there except a kind person adopted me. Again, unfortunately, due to personal circumstances and through no fault of my own, my second adopter needs to find me a new home. Although I've struck out twice, I figure that the third time's the charm, so I'm staying optimistic and eagerly anticipating meeting my this-time forever human companion. Could that be you?
