The owner just left him on the street and the Vet that is taking care of him took him in immediately. If you are interested in adopting Mack please email: [email protected] Name: Mack Age: Estimated by dental to be @ 3 years Sex: Male, confirmed neutered Breed: Appears to be a Plott mix, 42 pounds Location: Puerto Rico As the vet and the (temporary) owner are one in the same, owner confirms that Mack is neutered, up to date on vaccinations and heartworm negative. She suspects that he is blind from birth and is completely blind. Mack is on both heartworm prevention and Nexgard. As many know, it is very difficult to find a home for a dog in Puerto Rico right now, especially a blind one. Temporary foster would like to find a family for Mack. He is a very good dog and does not deserve to live at a clinic. Mack has been with her for 2 months now. He is an indoor dog who is crated. He is both housebroken and leash trained. It is unknown if he has ever had any formal obedience training but Mack is outgoing, good with men, women and children as well as male & female dogs, cats and other small animals. Mack has not shown any aggression to any person or animal, he is not possessive with treats, food or toys. He has adapted very well to his new surroundings which is why she suspects that he was blind since birth. Mack is described as 'very lovely and playful'. Though age has been estimated by dental, he has the personality of a puppy. **Owner Surrender Disclaimer: These are blind and visually impaired dogs who are living in homes, but their owners can no longer keep them.
