His girlfriend Smiley, are 8+ years old and have probably been together all of their lives. Pumpkin, the dachshund, is neutered and about 12 lbs. and recently and sadly lost his back leg due to a severe infection stemming from a metal rod surgically installed that was sadly too long. Smiley, his big gentle, quiet American Bulldog girlfriend is about 78 lbs. Pumpkin insists on showering Smiley in kisses and she loves it ! They are loving, balanced, well behaved dogs. Ideally the perfect home would have no other resident male dogs as Pumpkin can be a bit territorial over his gorgeous galpal ! These kiddos do have some medical needs we are addressing. Smiley has had mass removal surgery and is doing well. She will need to be kept out of the sun as much as possible with continued treatment on some alternative cancer treatments that are inexpensive on amazon and a healthy food regimen. Her prognosis is hopeful with managed care. Usually when you meet them you would never know they had a care in the world.
