About Bambi

Bambi is a senior Chihuahua who animal control ages as 10 but she appears and acts much younger. This adorable girl weighs just 3 pounds. She is so emaciated you can see every one of her ribs and bones. We are feeding her 4 times a day to put some weight on her. She also has an egg shaped tumor or hernia on the back part of her tummy which we are going to have removed. It is obvious that she was so neglected and probably also abused as she will cower and go into a submissive position when you first get to touch her. Whoever did this to this sweet girl has to be punished. Animal services will prosecute if they find them. She gets along with the other dogs and cats but is food aggressive, which is understandable as she was starved. She will soon realize that she will always have plenty of food so this should be alleviated. She has long legs and big ears and she prances like a deer so we named her Bambi.
