About Lil' Miss Stormy

Hi there! My name is Lil' Miss Stormy, and I'm a friendly, outgoing, super-sweet, cuddly tuxedo tabby-tortoiseshell (or torbie) DSH gal who was born in August 2018. 'Torbie' means that I'm a ticked brown tabby with splotches of orange tabby on me like I've been dipped in caramel at a candy factory, and 'tuxedo' means that I have white around my mouth, bib, tummy, and paws. I'm ultra people-oriented and have never met a stranger. Even when five adults came to visit at my foster home, it was the happiest day of my life. I love to be picked up and cuddled. My foster meowmy works from home all day, and I'm thrilled to see her a lot, but she still thinks that, since it's such a tranquil home, I would like more interaction with people because I hate to be alone and get lonesome when she leaves. I guess you're wondering how a kitty with a sunny disposition like me got the moniker 'Stormy.' Well, it has to do with the dark, stormy night of my rescue: About 10 pm one night some Good Samaritans were walking their dogs when they heard a meow from the storm drain, and, sure enough, when one reached down, I was pulled out! What a Jack-in-the-box surprise! Late as it was, they brought me to their only neighbor whom they knew had cat food on hand. I was famished, so I started eating and, thankfully, have been there ever since. I was so tiny that I easily fit into my foster meowmy's hand, and I was so adorable that there was no question that she would keep me. However, although I like the older resident cat, unfortunately she is jealous and doesn't get along with me, whom she sees as 'the intruder.' Even though my foster home doesn't have kids or dogs, my foster meowmy thinks I'm so friendly that I'd make a perfect family pet for a household with kids and other animals. So she thought it best to put me up for adoption by a 'real' family with loving children who could give me a home with plenty of people interaction and activity and, of course, love like I'm getting from her. Although I love my foster meowmy, I know that a different household might just be my cup of tea. I'm so amenable and personable, I should adjust pretty easily to a new family.
