About We named him Pepe

Adoption Fee: $50
Pit Bull / Silky Terrier
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Male

We name this handsome boy Pepe. We found him at a empty construction site November 2018. He was dying. My husband wrapped him with his jacket and we brought him home. Pepe was skin and bones. His teeth are all broken. He lost an eye. The vet believes he was severely abused and neglected. Vet believes he was also used as bait because of the injuries he had,and his hip was not quiet broken but displaced. Pepe walks fine with a limp. Pepe is a sweetheart. He is good and submissive with adults. We don't have small children so I don't know how he will do around children. Sadly Pepe does not do well around big dogs. We have 4 other rescued furry babies that bless our home and are rescued failures. One is a pit bull, daddy, and 3 chihuahuas. All from the streets. Pepe is very dominant and goes after daddy. Six months now and situation at home is affecting everyone. Pepe needs a home where he is the only pet. All my furry babies are indoors and so is Pepe. Our pet daddy is afraid to go to the garden. He stays on the bed all day and we have to carry him to the garden, all 69 lbs of him. We have to lock rooms so they all can eat without fear of Pepe. Even drinking water is cause for a fight. We wanted so much to keep Pepe. But right now the stress level is affecting us all. Pepe is afraid of rain, lightning, thunder and will sit in my lap whimpering. He is about 70 lbs now. He was less than 30 when we found him. He has a very healthy appetite. Please help us finding Pepe a new loving home where he can be relax and be a loving companion to a loving family. We are heartbroken but we need to do what's best for Pepe. Thank you.
