About Dexter (west)

My name is DEXTER ID#A3923230 I am a neutered male, tan and white American Pit Bull Terrier mix. The shelter staff think I am about 5 years old, and I have been at the shelter since Apr 06, 2019. Dexter was once a loved family member. His family adopted a foster child and unfortunately they were hit with breed restrictions. They had to give Dexter up. They adopted him out to a family. They thought he was safe. However, Dexter ended up at MCACC West in very bad shape (beat up). He needs a home now. His story is heartbreaking. Can you give him a family? Love? Happiness he deserves again? Dexter walks great on leash, gets along with other dogs, and just loves everyone. He loves booty scratches, knows how to 'sit', and is always happy and wiggly. Because he was 'returned' to the shelter, Dexter is in immediate danger to be euthanized. Please, someone, help this sweet guy now.
