About Rosie

Rosie is a 3 �%BD year old, 24 pound Pug and Pekingese. She does well with other dogs her size and has teenagers in her foster home, smaller children would probably scare her since she doesn't have any experience with them. Rosie loves to go for walks and does well on a leash, she prances right along. Words like thin and svelte are never going to be used when describing Rosie. She definitely has the Pug genetics and is a little chunky monkey. Rosie enjoys being outside and would love a fenced yard so she can safely explore. Sadly Rosie had been with another rescue for 3 years and had not found a home! That means she has been stuck in a kennel since she was a 6 month old puppy. She made the trip from Texas to Iowa and is becoming a whole new dog. Rosie has discovered the joys of a home, soft dog beds, couches, and people to toss her favorite toy. She fetches her favorite toy but has short little legs so it doesn't take long to wear her out. She is shy at first but then is an absolute love bug. Rosie doesn't have much experience out in the world yet and does get startled at new things so she needs a home that will be patient with her as she learns about the world. Rosie is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm tested, and microchipped.
