Hi, my name is QUEEN ID# A4106676 I am a spayed female, tan and white American Pit Bull Terrier, and I weigh about 53 lbs. The shelter staff think I am about 7 years old, and I have been at the shelter since July 20, 2018. Queen was surrendered by her owner because she would go after smaller dogs. She is housebroken, rides well in the car, and generally likes people. We recommend she be in a home without small children due to her high energy and size. Queen know how to 'sit' and 'stay', and walks just fine on a leash. Here's a report from a shelter volunteer recently: 'Per vol. Meg on 2/25/19 - Queen knows 'sit', was calm, did well on leash but pulled somewhat, was gentle/soft with interactions. She was difficult to leash due to excitement, pulled to get away from the building, met several stadium employees - was friendly with everyone and tried to get into their golf carts. She laid down on one's lap and on the floor of a car behind the driver's legs - tail wagging. Gave face kisses to an employee sitting in a chair. Easy return.' Queen rides well in a car, jumps right in the car. Walked well along with other dogs at the wag and walk. If you already have a dog, please bring it down to meet with Queen before taking her home with you just to make sure they will get along. Queen will go on the euthanasia list very very soon unless and outlet is found soon. 'URGENT' If you have no breed restrictions, please call ASAP = 520-800-4633 *NOTE: This dog is located at MCACC East: 2630 W Rio Salado Pkwy, Mesa AZ 85201
