About Dash

Howdy to you! My name is Dash, and I'm a sweet, loving, playful, energetic 65-pound Black Mouth Cur/ Golden Retriever mix fella who was born about April 2017. I'm a lover boy who thinks I belong in my foster mom's lap! I love belly rubs, playing fetch, as well as car rides! I already know to 'sit' upon command, but I'm getting professional obedience training in my foster home so my manners will be perfected for my adopter. A Good Samaritan spotted me as a stray at Cullen Park, and after two weeks of my being unclaimed, she whisked me off the the vet to be scanned for a microchip. Unfortunately, my former owners hadn't chipped (or neutered) me, so it was impossible for her to find them. After she got me fully vetted and neutered, she reached out to Buster's Friends to help her find me a fantastic lifetime home. She can't keep me because her family already has a houseful of foster cats. I'm looking for an active family to adopt me so I can release my youthful energy at the dog park or accompany them jogging. My foster mom testifies that I'm a great dog who would be a great addition to any home. One word of warning, however, is that I'm not good with other dogs.
