SANDY - ID#A3609458 My name is SANDY. I am a spayed female, tan Labrador Retriever and American Pit Bull Terrier. The shelter staff think I am about 5 years old, and I have been at the shelter since Mar 27, 2019. Notes from a volunteer who recently spent time with Sandy: 'And one of my new shelter favorites: Sandy #A3609458 a 5 yr old female pit/lab mix. She is such a beauty! Walks like a dream on the leash, takes treats so gently, loves meeting new people, knows 'sit.'. We walked for a bit, then when we sat down in the grass, she sat on my lap like I was her personal cushion. 10 minutes, just perched on my lap. Goofy girl. The downside? Walk Sandy, and you will have that John Travolta song stuck in your head for the rest of the night... 'Stranded at the drive-in, branded a fool. What will they say, Monday at school...?' Other than that, Sandy is a gem. Seriously... I sit and wonder why-yi-yi no one has come for Sandy yet?'
