About Leo

Name: Leo Sex: Male Age: 3-4 yrs Weight: 65 lbs Breed:Boxer/ Pit Mix Good with: People, dogs, cats and older children (due to his energy) Adoptable in MA and NH Leo was brought into a small animal control as a stray and was adopted quickly. He and his owner worked in a motel at a front desk where Leo was a greeter. Leo loved his dad, until his dad fell ill and was not expected to make it out of the hospital. Poor Leo was brought back to animal control. He loves people and gets along with other dogs. He is a beautiful brindle boy with big brown loving eyes. He lived with a female pitbull, and is very dog friendly with both male and female dogs. Leo hasn't met a stranger, and believes everyone is his friend. Leo loves toys, especially tug toys! He would do well at scent detection or fun search and rescue games. He has an excellent hunt drive and tracking skills naturally. Leo is working on his manners and would do best with older children due to his energy as he may knock small ones down. Leo is potty and crate trained and non-destructive in a house. He loves to snuggle up in his dog bed, and eat peanut butter from his Kong. His foster says he has been a terrific guest.
