About Leo

This guy is Leo and was adopted from us 4 years ago and at that time he was 2 years old - so that makes him 6 years old now. He is a Mastiff mix. He has lived with children over the age of 12 and an older Shih Tzu. Unfortunately while at work one day the older Shih Tzu was found dead when his owner's came home and Leo got blamed for killing it. The owner reports there was no sign that he had mangled the smaller dog but there were marks on the back of the neck. There was no blood. If we had to 'guess' he may have been trying to revive the senior dog but we can't guarantee that so we pretty much forced to say he should be an only dog and probably not around cats either. He is housebroken and is just a sweet and mellow guy. He is very sad being here at the shelter and does not understand what he did wrong to end up back here after being so happy for four years. If you can turn those sad eyes into joyful ones, consider coming and meeting this baby. He will be updated on his shots, he is neutered, will be current on preventatives and he is micro-chipped.
