About Sunny

Keep on the Sunny side, always on the Sunny side, keep on the Sunny side of life- adopt me, Sunny! Before Smiles Forever Animal Rescue saved me, I spent most of my life in a shelter becoming increasingly miserable as each day went by. The rescue hired The Balanced Dog, LLC to train me and prepare me for my forever home. After lots of work, I know I'm ready to make my forever family proud and happy. My foster/trainer is very impressed with my behavior after all the work we've done. I show no signs of food aggression and I'm great around kiddos. My leash skills are on point with the right collar and I'm 100% crate trained. I've never even had an accident in the house, and that's pretty dang impressive for a 2 year old dog if I say so myself! After years of isolation, the thing I love most in the world is to be around people. I have no bite history or aggression issues with humans of any shape or size. Now, I am very young and playful, so I might knock a smaller child down by accident. I mean heck, I do weigh 50 lbs and that might be a lot of dog for a young child to handle.
