Hi there! My name is Amber, and I'm a sweet, gentle red tuxedo tabby DSH gal with an angelic face and gigantic green eyes who was born in August 2018. I get along great with the other kitties in my foster home, and of course, I adore my foster meowmy. I'll always be grateful to her for getting me out of a very precarious predicament. You see, I was found by a Good Samaritan who trapped me as a wee orphan kitten in a feral colony. Only problem is that I was taken to a shelter with all its sights and sounds, including barking dogs, and it was the wrong place for me because I was terrified. The shelter staff recognized my potential if I were just placed in the right environment, like a quiet foster home, where I could relax, thrive, and learn to be social without being distracted by all the shelter commotion. They wanted to get me out of there, so they called my future foster meowmy and begged her to bail me 'outta there.' What a relief that she said yes and brought me home to dispense her experienced TLC, which was just what this young little girl needed. Foster Meowmy's patience paid off, and slowly I began to feel secure once I got to know her and got adjusted to the other felines in her household. As much as I like it here in my foster home, I realize that a home of my very own is what's best for me. So I'm looking for a quiet home where a lot of grace and patience will be extended to me until I feel safe and relaxed. I'm ever so sweet and gentle when I get to know you!
