About LEO

Leo was saved from local shelter close to 2 years ago, he went into a family with Golden Retriever and been ok besides showing food aggression issues. Leo was hit by a truck year ago and has back ankle issue with arthritis when on leg a lot. He really needs to be with an owner that has no other pets. He would be an awesome guard dog, he is very strong like an ox. Must have secure fence and is house trained. Loves his owner, however, suddenly he is stressed and become very aggressive to his big brother the Golden Retriever. And the owner has 2 other dogs in the home and cannot have Leo being aggressive wanting to fight the other male dog. The family is praying to find someone out there on the Mississippi Gulf Coast that would love to meet Leo, who has not other pets and that could use a very good guard dog. Leo has noise issues, doesn't like big trucks, 4 wheelers, they make him extremely nervous. He cannot be in a yard with no fence because he will run away. He really just needs to go to someone maybe experienced with pit mixes and that has time to work with him on his anxiety issues.
