Thanks for your cooperation!*** WE ARE NOT A SHELTER, WE ARE AN ALL-VOLUNTEER RESCUE WITH FULL-TIME JOBS. Please do not contact us to come look at a dog. We will contact you once we have reviewed your completed application if we think your home might be a good fit. A reference check, phone interview, and home visit will be completed before meeting an adoptable dog. We work quickly. Please do not submit an application until you are ready to bring a new furry family member home. Expect your references to be contacted shortly after submitting your application. We adopt out to homes around the US and Canada, but require that you are present for the meet and greet in Renton, WA. Our adoption fee is non-negotiable as we need these funds to cover medical bills. The adoption fee is due on the day of adoption in the form of a check, Chase QuickPay, PayPal, or cash. Katie, 27.4 lbs, 4 years Pug/Pekingese mix, up to date on shots, microchipped, heart worm negative, dewormed, had a dental & polish. Poor beautiful loving Katie was dropped off at a kill shelter in CA by her family, they no longer wanted this sweet angel anymore. Well as per usual she went onto a euthanasia list with no one coming to save her & we seen this heartbreaking video of her just laying there as she must of known no one was coming for her, so extremely sad & defeated. Well we were going to change her destiny & we rescued her from the kill shelter where now she is looking for that special family to love & cherish her. The funny Katie is currently fostered with other dogs in her foster home & throughly has the time of her life running with dogs her size. Someone we are guessing the previous home who dumped her in the kill shelter taught her the word 'no' as she knows it & will stop. This little lady also enjoys sunning herself outside & loves her comfy dog bed, she has the time of her life with rope toys & we believe would do well having other toys as we don't know of previously she had any. This little lady loves to explore inside or outside & enjoys a good adventure. Did we mention Katie loves all the attention in the world & loves to be held & cuddled & rubbed plus given so much love. She has also been walking on a leash & gets very excited on her leash & did we mention she enjoys a good car ride? Katie has been around many breeds of dogs & she is currently fostered with foster siblings, she can be a bit of a bossy pants with very small dogs such as 9-11 lbs dogs. But could go to a home with other dogs present in the home & she likes to run with dogs her size. Katie is possibly a Pug Pekingese mix & she is roughly 27.4 lbs & 4 years old. Katie needs to lose some weight & her wonderful foster mum is working on helping her with her with this sweetheart, she is spayed, microchipped, up to date on her shots, heart worm negative & dewormed & tested & has just had a dental & a polish. Katie has been around cats since being in the rescue but it's always up to the new family to be responsible with their animals together & we have not had her around small children so we do not recommend small children & it's always up to the family to be responsible with their children but she has been around very respectful teenagers who are respectful to dogs. We do not know for sure what breed Katie is mixed with & it's always up to the new potential family to look at the pictures & decide what they think her breed is. As with all of our rescues & Katie's friends she will need work on potty training & training, so this should be something the new family would be willing to work on & commit to. Please do not submit an application if you are not willing to commit to one of our rescues care for their whole life & that includes if they need training. Please do not say you will take a dog to training if you will not. Please do not email us asking is Katie potty trained or available, nor do we ship dogs anywhere as we will not respond. We would never say anyone of our rescues are potty trained. Our rescues need homes where the people are understanding of their past & what they have been through & what they will need in their daily lives & not willing to give up on them & if they do need training in their new home will in fact take them to training & not just say they will when applying & tick the yes box. Please only submit an application if you are truly interested in adopting Katie & going through the process and have read her listing fully to the end & are interested in adopting. If you are not responsive to our calls, emails or your references do not respond we will move on & remove your application from our system.
